Episode 26 - Was Job Patient or Mad as Hell?

EPISODE SUMMARY

In this week's episode, I discuss Job's story, and, as always, it's not as straightforward as you might think.

EPISODE NOTES

As you already know, Job is basically a Bible rock star. He's the patron saint of patient people. Not only was Job successful and blessed, he was also a man who feared God. A true role model!

In the classic story, Job was tested by God and The Satan. The Satan caused catastrophic events that completely changed Job's life to the worst, and yet, he never complained, and he never showed bitterness.

Or so you'd think!

But there is another side to Job's tale, and it's exactly what I'll be talking about today.

As you know, it's all in the details, and those details will help us truly delve into Job's story and analyze it from the inside out.

So, if this sounds like your cup of tea, grab a seat and give us a listen!

Key points discussed

  • Job's story begins (01:49)

  • The Satan tests Job (07:21)

  • The aftermath (12:47)
